Mattel's Fisher-Price unit issued a recall on an additional 38 thousand "Go Diego Go!" toys as part of a larger recall of lead contaminated children's products. The latest recall involves orange and yellow Go Diego Go! Animal rescue boats manufactured in China and imported by Fisher-Price.
The recall comes just a day after Mattel CEO Robert Eckert addressed a crowd in Madison, Wisconsin about how the company is stepping up safety standards.
He says all Mattel toys are now inspected at the production, manufacturing, and shipping stages.
