It all started at Wabash and Ohio Avenues. Evansville police say they spotted a black Chevy pick up. They tried to pull the driver over but he took off. Police and Vanderburgh County deputies chased him, reaching speeds of 85 miles an hour.
The chase headed east on I-164, law enforcement laid down stop sticks near the Covert Avenue exit. By the time the driver got to the Lloyd exit, all four tires were flat.
Officers arrested him and booked him in the Vanderburgh County Jail.
