A local child life center earned a statewide award. Evansville Arc was named the winner of the 2007 Indiana Youth Investment Award from the Indiana Youth Institute. The center is designed to help all children develop their interests and abilities, while helping those with disabilities receive the therapeutic care that they need. In addition to the award, they received a 5 thousand dollar check. This center started over 50 years ago and serves 160 children each year.
