Man Arrested for Pain Medication Attack

Jasper police arrested a suspect for allegedly attacking a man for his oxycontin prescription. It happened last week in the parking lot of the Kmart there. Jason Smith is one of the suspects in the attack. He was arrested at his home in Eckerty Wednesday night. Jasper police also questioned a second man about his involvement in this crime. He is a Taswell, Indiana resident and has not been arrested yet. However, the investigation into his suspected involvement is not over.
