Mall Shooting Training

If a shooting occurred in the mall, how well is law enforcement prepared to handle it? Evansville Police officers trained as active shooter instructors worked with mall security and employees today to find out. Those participating learned whats expected of them by acting out this worst case scenario. They simulated scenarios involving armed individuals actively shooting inside the mall. Ferguson says the training is coming just in time for the busy holiday season. He says they expect more than three million visitors in the mall during that time.
