Air Service Resumes to Indianapolis

Good news for travelers. Starting Tuesday, there is once again a direct flight from Evansville to Indianapolis. The flight will shorten your travel time from about 3 and a half hours driving to a 40 minute flight. The Evansville Airport tried this route a few years ago, but it only lasted a few months, due to bankruptcy issues. Airport officials thought it was time to try again. They partnered with Cape Air to make the new connection and expect it to help Hoosiers commute. Beginning rates are as low at $69 from Evansville to Indy.
