Newburgh Tavern Robbed

A Warrick county man faces charges after he allegedly robbed the Knob Hill tavern in Newburgh. Investigators say Ernest Smith walked into the restaurant around 7:30 Sunday evening and did not show a weapon but kept his hands in his pockets, demanded money, then left. The bartender was able to get the license plate number of the car and Smith was arrested about an hour later.
