
A woman who confessed to stealing her grandmother's identity was sentenced to two and a half years in prison. Gina Dickens of Owensboro plead guilty to stealing her grandmother's name and social security number while serving as her caretaker. Her grandmother suffers from alzheimers. Dickens admitted she applied for and used multiple credit cards to rack up thirty seven thousand dollars worth of fraudulent charges. She could have been sentenced to 122 years in prison and fined three million dollars.
