11th Annual Robotics Challenge

Twenty five teams competed today in the 11th annual Robotics Challenge at Ivy Tech. Each year, there is a new challenge for middle school, high school, and college students to compete in. This year, teams had to create a robot that would go up and down steps, retrieve a ping pong ball, then return to the starting point. Only one team completed the task successfully. The competition this year was called The Ascent. Combs says this challenge was more difficult than years past, but competitors rose to the occasion.
