Send-off Party for 163rd Saturday

Evansvilles 163rd Field Artillery unit is preparing to head off to Iraq and members of the community couldnt be any more proud. A special send-off is planned for Saturday at 2 p.m. at Roberts Stadium to show soldiers support. Tickets are free to the public with a limit of 6 per person. They are still available for pick up at the Stadium. This is Indianas largest troop mobilization since World War II. They have been in intensive pre-mobilization training, gearing up for the deployment.
