Plea Deal Possible in Domestic Battery That Left Woman in Coma

A plea deal could be in the works for a Kentucky man accused of putting his pregnant girlfrind in a coma. Thomas Matthew Yancy will be in court in webster county Thursday. Hes charged with domestic abuse for allegedly beating his former girlfriend so severly that she slipped in to a coma. Ashley Chaney remains in a coma like state today, more than one year after the attack. She delivered a healthy baby girl in May. A pre-trial hearing for Yancy is scheduled for Thursday, where he could be offered a plea deal.
