Jasper Gives 151st Infantry Proper Sendoff

Family and friends want soldiers across southern Indiana to know, even though they will be gone, they will not be forgotten.
The community had a warm send off for the 151st infantry unit in Jasper Thursday.
The soldiers left to join other units at Camp Atterbury then they will leave for Iraq in January.
Friends, family, and neighbors took part in the celebration to show support and to send the troops off in true patriotic fashion.
The Jasper soldiers will be joined by the 163rd field artillery unit from Evansville which also left for Camp Atterbury Thursday.
