Road Closings/Accidents

Wintry weather and heavy rain has closed several roads, and caused multiple accidents in the Tri-State area.
In Evansville, areas on the following roads were closed today because of high water.
Seminary between Gartner Land and Golden Rule closed also, Happe Road, Kings, South Weinbach between Waterworks and the levee, Old Henderson, Hickory Ridge, Roth Road, Cypress Dale Road, and Waterworks.
Several accidents were also reported this afternoon
One of those on the East Lloyd between Saint Joe and Barker.
A truck carrying a U-Haul lost control and overturned.
No word yet on the severity of the injuries, however traffic was backed up while officers cleared the scene.

Transportation officials are urging motorists to use caution while driving in these conditions and slow down.
