A recent controversy of whether girls should be able to wrestle has started to make quite a buzz for local high schools. But, for one Owensboro high school in particular they are able to look past it. Amanda Clark and Kyra Hudson are ordinary high school girls. But they both share a love for something thats a little more extra ordinary. Most of the time youll only see men sweating it out on the wrestling mat, but not for these two Apollo High School girls, they take on the toughest. While the girls dont mind wrestling the boys, it took their new teammates a little bit of time to get used to the idea. As each day passes, and each practice comes to an end the controversy of whether girls should be able to wrestle is no longer an issue at Apollo High School. Apollos wrestling teams next match is at the Harrison County Invitational on December 27th.
