Stadium Debates Continue

Whether Evansville decides to renovate Roberts Stadium or build a new arena, it will be expensive.
Consultant Tom Chema took questions from the Roberts Stadium advisory board Tuesday night.
He said an 86-hundred seat arena that would be expandable to 10-thousand seats would cost anywhere from 40 million dollars for a low-end renovation to 75 million for a new arena.
That doesnt include land acquisition or architectural and engineering fees.
A state of the art renovation would cost 60 million dollars.
Chema said hell have his final recommendation in February or March.
