Fires In Vanderburgh and Warrick

Fire officials say a fire on Jefferson Street was started by gasoline. According to police reports, gasoline was poured on the front west side of the floor near the door--then lit. Neighbors saw smoke and called 911. Evansville firefighters were able to extinguish the fire before it spread. The house is currently vacant. Also, Lynnville firefighters in Warrick county are currently on the scene of a structure fire on goad road. Well bring you information as it becomes available
