Fatal Accident Near Vincennes

One person is dead as the result of a car accident in Know County, Indiana. It happened around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon just south of Vincennes. The Knox County Sheriffs Department is releasing very few details. The accident involved a passenger car and a semi tractor trailer and happened near the 49 mile marker at St. Thomas Road. 41 North and part of 41 South were closed for more than two hours while crews cleaned up the scene. The name of the person killed has not been released.
