Henderson Man Beat with Bat

A Henderson man is in critical condition Monday night after he was allegedly beat up with a baseball bat. Henderson police say Isaiah Ray and Cody Griffen started an altercation at a duplex at 2915A Marlou Court around 1 Sunday morning. Apparently one of the two struck Dustin Hayes in the head with a bat. His friend Jeremiah Coomes was also assaulted. Hayes remains in the hospital. Both Isaiah and Cody were booked at the Henderson County Detention Center.
