An Evansville hair stylist wont soon forget the haircut she gave Wednesday night at New Concepts salon on South Barker Avenue. Just before 6pm, she was doing work for a client when a masked man walked in and demanded money. He showed a large knife, but the stylist was so shocked by the sight, she didnt know how to react. "She thought he was joking," said salon owner Millie Knight, who spoke with her stylist shortly after the robbery. The bandit quickly told the two women and the little girl in the shop that he wasnt joking, and took money. Then he locked them in a bathroom and made his getaway. The women didnt get a look at the robbers face. Police describe the robber as a white man, standing 6 4, and wearing a dark black or blue ski mask.
