Another round of winter weather is taking aim on the tri-state and road crews and motorists hope they wont have a case of deja vu. With Monday mornings nightmare still fresh in the minds of many in the area, the trucks are loaded and ready to go as the Vanderburgh County Highway Department prepares for another wintry mix Wednesday night. Forecasters are predicting a snow accumulation of less than an inch, but combined with sleet and rain, your morning commute could be dangerous. Crews were preparing all day long by laying salt on the roads in hopes to avoid the same situation that happened Monday morning. Mike Duckworth, the superintendent of the Vanderburgh Co. Highway Department is taking this forecast a little more seriously, in hopes that Wednesday night wont be a repeat of Monday.
