Apartment Fire

Nearly a dozen people are displaced after an early morning fire in Evansville. It broke out just before three at the Pollack apartments at 2527 Pollack Avenue. Evansville fire crews told us it started in a vacant apartment on the ground floor. Smoke swallowed up eight other units. Seven of those were inhabited, and had to be evacuated. It didnt take firefighters long to knock it out. The Red Cross is taking care of those residents displaced by the fire.
