Evansville Police are looking into a possible homicide. Police tell Fox 7 News that 44-year-old Dayna Brown was found shot in the head inside his southeast side home. Brown's wife found his body last night in their home at 3988 Covert Avenue. Police say she had been trying to reach him by phone throughout the evening with no success. When police arrived, they first thought it was a suicide case, because there was no sign of a struggle and the door was unlocked. They ruled out suicide when they discovered no gun was inside the residence. Police took one person into custody for questioning, but have not made any arrests in the case. They urge anyone with information to contact them.
