Homicide Investigation

Police are looking into a possible homicide at a Covert Avenue residence. 44-year old Dayna Brown was found shot in the head inside his southeast side home. Browns wife found his body late last night in their apartment at 3988 Covert Avenue around 11:30 PM. Police found a bullet casing, but no gun. There was also no sign of a struggle, and the front door was unlocked. A person of interest was taken into custody for questioning, but so far, no one has been charged with the crime. Police urge you to contact them, if you have any information about the case.
