Couple Arrested on Meth Charges

State Police Arrest Couple for Conspiracy to Manufacture Meth Pike County
Thursday night, January 24, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Indiana State Police executed a search warrant at a residence located at 4703 South 2nd Street, Velpen. Troopers had received information that Michael Krieg, 47, and Janette Browning, 35, were involved in illegal drug activity. During the search, Troopers Doug Francis and Ryan Johnson located several boxes of nasal decongestant containing ephedrine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Krieg and Browning were both arrested and taken to the Pike County Jail where they are currently being held on bond.
