A Daviess County woman is one of the latest educators inducted into the Kentucky Teacher Hall of Fame.
Governor Steve Beshear presented three Kentuckians with the honor during a special ceremony in the Capitol Rotunda Thursday.
One of the them was Shelia Ann Miller of Owensboro.
They were chosen by a statewide selection committee.
Miller began teaching elementary and junior high music in Daviess County in 1960.
She was named Kentucky Teacher of the Year in 2003 and retired in 2007.
The other two inducted were from Bardstown and Bowling Green.
