Spencer County fire crews had a busy Friday afternoon. They were called out to two fires, one right after the other. The first one started around 12:30 at 9368 Old State Road 66 in Hatfield. Fire crews say the trailer is a complete loss. The owner and her four year old son were home when the blaze broke out. No injuries were reported. A local church has put the family up in a hotel tonight. Investigators are looking into a cause. The second fire started around 2 at 603 Walnut Street in Rockport. Fire crews battled this house fire for at least an hour. Right across the street from the house is the Rockport Elementary school. Firefighters were still battling the blaze when the kids were dismissed. That home is also a total loss. No one was home at the time. There werent any injuries.
