Update: The man wanted in connection with Monday's stabbing in downtown Evansville is in police custody.
Officers say they arrested Carl Holland around 4:00 Tuesday afternoon.
The victim in the stabbing, 22 year old Corey Smith, told detectives he and Holland had gotten into a fight near Pearl Cleaners and that is when Holland stabbed him.
But Smith also told police he didn't want to press charges.
Smith was treated for what is described as non-life threatening injuries at the hospital.
