Rogers Found Guilty In Stabbing Case

A Vanderburgh county jury has decided an Evansville man is guilty of fatally stabbing someone over a pair of shoes. The jury deliberated about 2 hours before returning the verdict against Andrew Rogers. Rogers was accused of stabbing Thomas Walls in the neck last August at a party in a west side apartment. Rogers apparently thought walls had to tried to steal his shoes while he was passed out. Sentencing is set for next month.
