It takes a lot of work to clean up after the tornado. That makes it tough for parents to watch their kids and get their work done. Friday, CJs Bus rolled in to Muhlenberg County to give parents a break. Its a safehaven for kids who live through disasters, just like the tornado that struck on Tuesday. This is only the second time the bus has responded to a disaster, but after only a few hours there on the first day, they already were watching at least 12 kids. Parents say they didnt want their kids to see how bad it was and were grateful the bus was there. Kathryn Martin created CJs bus in honor of her two year old son who died in the November 6th, 2005 tornado in Warrick and Vanderburgh counties. It is available from 7 in the morning until 6 at night at the Merle Travis Center in Powderly. The Bus is in the same parking lot as the Red Cross Disaster Assistance Center. It is open from 10 until 4 Saturday. People who need help can apply for money to get clothes, shelter and food. Anyone interested needs to bring a photo I.D. and proof of residence. The Red Cross is also offering 3 hot meals a day at the Second Baptist Church in Greenville through Saturday.
