Icy Roads, Tough on Drivers

Icy roads caused some major problems for Tri-state drivers.
There have been numerous accidents. The conditions in Daviess County Kentucky are so bad, the sheriffs department shut down part of US 431 south of Owensboro until further notice.
City and county road crews have been salting roads for more than 24 hours now, but some roads are still covered with ice.
Evansville crews have eight different routes for salt trucks. All have been traveled numerous times since yesterday, and efforts are expected to continue well into tonight.
