Saying the package will provide the nations economy with, quote, "a booster shot," President Bush signed a 152-billion-dollar economic stimulus bill into law today.
Tax rebates are expected to be in the mail to Americans in a few months.
Under the plan, individual taxpayers would receive 600-dollar rebates, while married couples would get 12-hundred-dollars.
Parents would receive 300-dollars per child, and disabled veterans and retired people would get 300-dollars each.
Bush thanked Congress as well as its Democratic leadership for passing the bill quickly without loading it up with pork.
