Facebook Suing Delaware Company Over Alleged Timeline Spam

It's called "like-jacking." Here's how Facebook says it works: a post may show up on your timeline, supposedly something a friend "likes" and has passed on. It may look genuine, but it could lead you leads you to online surveys or products.
The Washington Attorney General's Office is now joining with Facebook to sue Adscend Media, an online marketing company.
They claim Adscend lures users into giving personal information and ordering products it never intends to deliver.
Facebook says it is working on a fix, but admits it's sometimes difficult to stay ahead of what they're calling an internet scam.
