Kentucky Wesleyan College's Dr. Anne Federlein resigned as President of the school. In a brief statement, Dr. Federlein said she's accomplished the goals she set earlier than expected and is now positioned for a strong future. The school's Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Wayne Foster, said Federlein is leaving on her own initiative, but will remain as a consultant for the college through next year. Dr. Federlein was the first woman president in the history of the three Kentucky United Methodist colleges. She began her career at the school in July of 2004.
