House Explosion

A Washington Indiana man is being treated at an Indianapolis hospital for burns he received in a late night house explosion. Firefighters say Herb Beckett's house on Southeast Second in Washington exploded around 11:00 Thursday night. Investigators say flammable liquids inside the house ignited, causing the explosion, but they aren't sure exactly how the liquids caught fire. Crews worked for more than 3 hours to control the blaze. The house is considered a loss.
