Patrol Nets Five Drunk Drivers

News Release: From: Indiana State Police Saturation Patrol Nets Five Intoxicated Drivers Between 10:00 p.m. last night and 4:00 a.m. this morning, Indiana State Police conducted a saturation patrol targeting intoxicated drivers in Vanderburgh and Warrick Counties. During the six hour period, troopers arrested five intoxicated drivers and issued 33 traffic tickets. Troopers arrested three intoxicated drivers in Vanderburgh County and two in Warrick County. Saturation patrols in Vanderburgh, Warrick, Gibson and Knox County nabbed nine intoxicated drivers the previous night. The Indiana State Police are committed to traffic safety and will continue to conduct saturation patrols to apprehend intoxicated drivers and to deter others from drinking and driving.
