Study: Heavier Workloads Make Sleepy Employees
(Buffalo, NY) -- More work and less sleep make Jack a drowsy employee.
New Yorks "Business First" says many workers are sleeping an average of almost 40 minutes less, taking a toll on body and mind.
The National Sleep Foundation says most people cite a heavier workload at home and additional work at home for the lack of shut eye.
On average, a workday will begin at about 5:35 a.m. with a 47-minute commute, only to work for nine-and-a-half-hours.
When finally home, most folks spend an additional four-and-a-half-hours each week working from home only to hit the sack at around 10:53 a.m.
