Posey County Man Charged With Child Molesting

Posey County Man Arrested for Child Molesting A felony arrest warrant was issued on February 20th, after an Indiana State Police investigation revealed Randall Hoehn, 34, of Mt. Vernon, allegedly molested two Posey County sisters between the summer of 2006 and January 2008. Indiana State Police attempted to arrest Hoehn at his residence in Mt. Vernon, but he had left the area soon after the arrest warrant had been issued. Yesterday afternoon, March 2, Hoehn was arrested in Mt. Carmel, IL, for unrelated charges. A wanted check revealed Hoehn was wanted out of Posey County. Hoehn is currently being held in Illinois, but will later be extradited back to Posey County to face five felony charges. Indiana State Police Detective Alan Sherretz initiated the investigation on February 7th after receiving information the two sisters had been molested by Hoehn. The girls are currently 12 and 14-years-old. During the investigation, Detective Sherretz revealed Hoehn allegedly had sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old girl on several different occasions starting in the summer of 2006. Hoehn allegedly fondled the 12-year-old multiple times between June 2007 and January 2008. The incidents occurred at the girl’s residence when Hoehn was alone with the girls. Hoehn was residing with the girl’s family during the time they were allegedly molested.

2. 1 Count of Child Molesting, Class C Felony
3. 2 Counts of Sexual Misconduct with a Minor, Class B Felony
