More Car Break-ins

   Police are stepping up patrols in an Evansville neighborhood after several car break-ins.
   Thieves are targeting the Carriage House Apartment complex on the city's east side near Eastland Mall.
   Three cars were broken into late Monday night and early Tuesday morning.
   One owner did admit to leaving the car unlocked.
   The other two said they locked their vehicles, but were not sure how the suspects broke in.
   Some of the items stolen were phone chargers.. CD's and even a car title.
   Cars at Sugarmill Creek Apartments on North Green River Road have also been broken into in the last month.
