Low Voter Turnout Expected in Daviess County

Daviess County Clerk David "Oz" Osborne says most of the blame goes to the Presidential Primary as Kentucky is one of the last states to vote. Even though Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul will be on the Republican ballot, all but Romney have suspended their campaigns.
On the Democratic side, President Obama is the only option. Because of this, Osborne says he'd like to see some things changed.
"Number one, I think they spend too much money on Presidential primaries and number two, I think all the nation should be moved closer together when voting in a primary because it's almost a moot issue by the time you get to Kentucky and other states," he said.
Osborne predicts a 10 to 15 percent turnout in Daviess County. On the state level, however, Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes expects only 8 to 10 percent of people to vote.

Perhaps you forgot to mention that he's not competing in the PRIMARIES because they AWARD LITTLE OR NO DELEGATES! He is still a MAJOR player and a threat to Romney's nomination, as his incredibly organized, energized and mostly ignored by the media grass roots ground game is taking state convention after state convention by storm. And that is where the delegates to the convention are REALLY awarded- not the phony 'beauty contest' votes in the primaries!
It's now at least 11 states where Ron Paul has a majority of the delegates, yet the media continues to refuse to acknowledge this- basing their faux 'delegate counts' on projections from those 'beauty contest' straw primary votes- NOT on actual delegates won! And all this is being done despite the RNC through it's cronies in the state parties disregarding, ignoring and breaking THEIR OWN RULES- just to try to 'give' Romney delegates that he has no business winning. All of the 'disruptions' at the caucuses and conventions have been caused NOT by Ron Paul people 'hijacking' the conventions or using 'arcane rules' as has been widely reported by the mockingbird presstitutes in the national media. Instead, it was the Paul people insisting on FOLLOWING the rules and proper procedures that caused the Party Insiders to explode and cause chaos. In many cases, they were breaking basic Robert's Rules of Order and Party Rules THEY THEMSELVES had written in order to shut out lawfully elected delegates, impose unelected chairmen, push through slates (sometimes fraudulent) by using illegal, secret or NO votes, and many more outrages including arresting delegates and leadership, and using police to empty halls when the convention votes weren't turning out 'their' way.
Don't take my word for it. Of course you won't find it in the National Corporate media (with few exceptions), but many local and state sources have reported repeatedly and extensively on the unethical, immoral and sometimes criminal methods the GOP Leadership and the Romney Campaign have used to , well... STEAL elections!

Correction: Ron Paul has NOT suspended his campaign and is still a player in this race, so please do not spread incorrect information.
