Early Morning Fire Destroys Evansville Home

An early morning fire destroys an Evansville home. Fire crews were called out just after 2 this morning to a fire at 633 Jefferson Avenue. Helen Lipson is the homeowner. She was asleep when it started. Investigators believe the fire started in the back of the house near the kitchen. All four people managed to get out safely along with a boxer, but a pit bull puppy didnt survive.
