There have been several failed attempts to provide a dance club in Newburgh geared towards those under 21. Now a new club owner is giving it another go. But some parents say its not for thier kids.
Live music, arcade games and a wide open dance floor. Daniel Carroll, the 25 year old owner of Fuel night club, says this environment is geared toward teenagers.
But some parents here at First Christian Church in Newburgh, like Penny Kaluza, aren't so sure. She's talking about the themed parties often hosted at Fuel.
But Carroll says he takes great pride in how these teens are supervised. The club, a not for profit establishment, is Carroll's life's passion.
Its been rumored Fuel nightclub is associated with former Club Icon in Evansville, but Carroll says that is not true. He wants to continue promoting a positive atmosphere. He eventually plans to start holding church services for teens on Sunday mornings.
