Mesker Park Zoo's "Zoo Brew" Sold Out

By: Michael C. Fehn
Updated: June 8, 2012
If you're still hoping to land tickets to Saturday's Zoo Brew event at Mesker Park Zoo, and from the sounds of things, many of you are, you're officially out of luck.

Mesker Marketing Director, Charlotte Roesner, tells Eyewitness News, the final tickets to Saturday's event were sold Friday morning.  "We typically keep the number of tickets to about 1,300, to keep the event more personable", Roesner said.  However, she says the event doesn't normally sell out until the day of.  And because of the early sell-out this year, a large number of last minute requests are having to be denied.

If you are planning to visit the zoo on Saturday, keep in mind that it will close one hour early, at 3:00p.m., so staff members can begin preparing for the Zoo Brew event.

Hope they observe that the speed limit on Mesker park Dr. is posted as 25mph down through there.
