Tri-Staters have an opportunity to step back in history this weekend. The annual Classic Iron Show is taking place this weekend.

The show features antique engines and tractors as well as other machines and techniques used in industry and agriculture over the past century. It is expected to draw antinque collectors from across the country. Some people go to the event to relive history. Others go for educational reasons, while others just think it is cool.

"On these old engines," said collector Keith Kinney, "you can see all the internals sitting there working. I've worked with computers for years, and I understand how they work. But it's still kinda magic to me. Where these you can sit there, and you can actually see the mechanics of it and understand exactly what's going on."

The Classic Iron Show will run through Sunday at the Vanderburgh County 4H Center.
