The headliner of the Shriners Fest air show is bringing more than tricks to the festival. Red Steel Jet Team says it's bringing a Las Vegas experience to Evansville.

Today Eyewitness News' Kayla Moody took a ride in one of the Red Steel Jet Team's planes used for aerobatics (see video). The plane will make an appearance in the air show -- but festival goers can also pay to take a ride in it. The team says it is partnering with a Las Vegas company to bring the plane rides to Evansville.

The company says it's a chance for people experience some of the basic moves commonly seen in air shows. The pilot bases the intensity of the flight on the rider's comfort. Red Steel Jet Team says the plane will be around Saturday and Sunday for those who would like to purchase a ride. Those interested can register at their tent at Shriners Fest.
