Volunteers take over the shoreline of the Ohio River with trash bags in hand.  Saturday morning was the annual cleaning of the Ohio River, known as River Sweep.  Organizers say more then 3,000 miles of shoreline was combed for trash and debris.  It's the largest environmental event of it's kind, and includes six states.  More than 50 people of all ages helped with the riverbank cleanup in the Evansville area.  Organizers say they were surprised they did not find any large items this year like tires or appliances.  Volunteers walked away with a free t-shirt.

Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller joined the effort to clean up the river front.  He says Indiana's riverfront is one of the state's best features, but might not be living up to its potential.
