breaking news
If a fist fight broke out in front of you, would you try to stop it, walk on by, or get out your cell phone or video cam and start shooting. Surprisingly, many teens we talked to today chose the latter. And there would be plenty who would watch.
It only took one touch of the phone to start recording this video. Two young girls, for whatever reason, fighting outside of an Evansville movie theater like theres no tomorrow. The video quickly spread from one cell phone to computers around the world, and its been viewed one thousand five hundred and fives times. in only one week.
"Its their personal privacy, everyone is just throwing it out there...Its just not right."
Mikey Eagan might not think its right to download the video online, but he was one of several kids that agreed hed watch it, in person, or online. Kasi Henderson also said it would be hard to turn away.
"Honestly, Id probably watch it and try to get help."
And while some might be more hesitant to even watch, Lindsey Brothers said it would be hard to *not* tape it. I would probably be the first one in line, probably pull out my cell phone, I would tape it."
While most kids agree a fight might be fun to watch, they also say when it gets to a certain point something has to be done.
"Id probably sit back and watch it...If it started to get too serious and people are really hurting each other, Id probably have to step in and break it up."
Its apparent that something needs to be done. The use of technology nowadays, combined with a perfect or not so perfect situation to tape like a fight, leaves everyone scratching their heads, what will happen next?
Were not exactly sure why the girls were fighting, but the audio on the video indicates it was over a boy.
