Boil Advisory for Evansville Neighborhoods Lifted

The Evansville Water Utility is lifting the precautionary boil advisory issued on July 19th. The areas included are:

4900 - 5029 Broadway Ave.

Speaker Rd from Broadway Ave to Skyline Dr

Skyline Dr from Speaker Ave to the dead-end

James Ave from Speaker Rd west to the dead-end

Nolan Ave from Speaker Rd west to the dead-end

Noldau Ave from Speaker Rd to Daniel Ave

Daniel Ave from Noldau Ave to Crestwood Dr

Crestwood Dr from Daniel Ave to Westlake Dr

Westlake Dr from Crestwood Dr to Speaker Rd

Victoria Ln from Crestwood Dr east to the dead-end

The Evansville Water and Sewer utility sends this statement: Results of the samples collected from the affected area have revealed no evidence of contamination. Accordingly, the boiling of water for consumption purposes is no longer necessary. The Evansville Water & Sewer Utility appreciates the cooperation and understanding of our customers throughout this incident.  While we recognize the inconvenience generated by a precautionary boil advisory, the safeguarding of the health of our customers will remain our number one priority. Questions regarding this issue may be directed to the Water Department/Allens Lane at 421-2130.
