Shoe Carnival and Vanderburgh County CASA have formed a new partnership based on a mutual desire to help abused and neglected kids in our community. The organizations are teaming up to raise money in the first ever "Walk the Runway" benefiting the County's Court Appointed Special Advocate program.

Suzanne Draper with the Vanderburgh County CASA and Cindy Baird with Shoe Carnival, appeared on Local 7 Lifestyles with the details of the event.

The public is invited to take part in "Walk the Runway" on Friday, August 3 at Casino Aztar at 6:00pm. Guests will enjoy cocktails, hors d' oeuvres and a runway show featuring the latest back-to-school and fall fashion footwear trends.

For those interested in taking part in the event as a donor or guest, please contact Suzanne Draper at 812-424-5825 or stop by the CASA office at 728 Court Street in downtown Evansville.
