Alleged Victim in Robbery and Fatal Crash Due in Court

The man who told police he gave chase to a group of armed robbers who invaded his home is scheduled to be in court.
Ira Beumer is charged with causing the death of an alleged robber and injuring another back in February.
Vanderburgh County deputies say that Beumer gave chase to the four alleged suspects after they robbed and beat him inside his home on Big Cynthiana Road.
Beumer said he went after them in his car and the two cars crashed, killing one of the suspects.
Two of the suspects are also facing murder charges.
