The money raised will benefit abused and neglected children in the Juvenile Court system. CASA, which stands for Court Appointed Special Advocate, is a national program that trains volunteers to speak on behalf of a child's well-being.
Walk the Runway will not only feature some of the hottest back to school fashion trends, but some of the organization's volunteers and the kids they've helped along the way.
Guests will have the opportunity to win door prizes worth hundreds of dollars. Eyewitness News anchors Julie Dolan and Laura Kirtley will emcee the event.
Tickets are $50 per person. All of the proceeds will benefit CASA. To purchase tickets, call the CASA office at 812-424-5825.
Vanderburgh County CASA is currently accepting applications for volunteers. For more information: http://vandcasa.com/
